Boerne Little League is Going to the 2026 Little League World Series! How to Watch, Where to Watch + How to Support ThemβΎπ
August 13th 2026 | Saige Diaz
Okay, Boerne β this is BIG.
The Boerne Little League All-Stars are officially headed to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series!
After an incredible run through the Southwest Region Tournament, our hometown boys will represent the Southwest Region and Texas West on one of the biggest stages in youth sports. The 2026 Little League Baseball World Series runs August 19β30, and Boerne is one of just 20 teams from the United States and around the world competing this year.
And if you remember the excitement around town in 2024, you know how special this is β Boerne is headed back to Williamsport for the second time in just three years!
Here's what Boerne families need to know about the World Series, how to watch the games, where to watch around town, and β maybe most importantly β how we can help support these kids and their families.
⾠First⦠What Is the Little League World Series?
If you're not a big baseball family, you might be wondering why everyone is SO excited.
The Little League Baseball World Series is an international youth baseball tournament held every year in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Teams have to work their way through local, state and regional tournaments to earn one of the coveted spots in Williamsport.
This year's tournament includes 10 U.S. regional champions and 10 international teams, with teams coming from places including Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and Czechia.
So yes β our Boerne kids are about to play baseball on an international stage.
HOW COOL IS THAT?!
π Boerne's Road to Williamsport
Boerne's road to the World Series definitely wasn't an easy one.
They entered the Southwest Region Tournament representing Texas West and lost their opening game to Lamar Little League, representing Texas East, 10β3.
But they didn't give up.
Boerne fought its way through the elimination side of the bracket and eventually got another shot at Lamar.
This time?
BOERNE WON 3β2.
They then defeated Louisiana's Ascension Parish Little League 4β1, putting them in position to advance to Williamsport.
There was some unexpected uncertainty afterward involving Tulsa National Little League and a court challenge surrounding Tulsa's disqualification over player eligibility.
A judge ultimately dissolved the temporary restraining order, clearing the way for Boerne to officially advance to Williamsport.
Now it's official.
THE BOYS ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!

One important time-zone note: Little League lists the game at 3 PM Eastern, which is 2 PM here in Boerne.
Boerne received a first-round bye, so they'll play the winner of the Southeast Region vs. Northwest Region game.
Future game times will depend on how the tournament progresses, so we'll keep following along as the bracket develops.
πΊ How Can We Watch From Home?
You absolutely don't have to travel to Pennsylvania to cheer on the boys.
Little League says more than 340 tournament games are being broadcast across ESPN platforms this summer and directs viewers to ESPN.com/Watch for the most current availability.
But honestlyβ¦
I think watching WITH Boerne is going to be way more fun. π
ππΊ Where to Watch the Game in Boerne
This is going to be one of those fun days where it feels like the whole town is watching the same thing.
Local bars and restaurants around Boerne are planning to have the game on, so if you don't want to watch from your couch, grab some friends or the family and make an afternoon out of it.

π Here's How We Can Support the Players AND Their Families
This is the part I really want our community to rally around. Making it to Williamsport is an incredible opportunity for these kids, but getting there also means expenses for their families β travel, lodging, meals, transportation and everything that comes along with suddenly needing to get your family to Pennsylvania.
There are a couple of really easy ways we can help.
π #1 β Buy Official Boerne Little League World Series Merch
Boerne Little League has an official LLWS 2026 collection, and the store says proceeds benefit Boerne Little League and the Boerne Little League community.
They currently have All-Star Hometown Proud shirts for $20 and Branded Bills rope hats for $50.
Even better: the league says all profits from the All-Star shirts go directly toward travel expenses for the All-Star team and their families associated with their 2026 World Series trip.
So grab a shirt, wear it for the game and help support our local families at the same time.

π° #2 β Donate to Help the Families Get to Williamsport
These kids have worked SO hard to get here. This could truly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we would love to see Boerne rally around their families so money doesn't have to limit who gets to be there cheering them on.
The longer the team stays in the tournament, the more expenses families may have β extra hotel nights, meals, transportation and everything that comes with being away from home.
Even $10 or $20 multiplied across our community can make a huge difference.

π° #3 β Local Fundraiser by the Purple Heart to Help the Families Get to Williamsport

The fundraiser was created specifically to help Boerne Little League families with the expenses that come with traveling to Williamsport, including flights, hotels, meals and transportation.
The fundraiser also includes a raffle for an original, professionally framed and signed piece of artwork depicting the famous Nolan Ryan vs. Robin Ventura moment.
ποΈ 1 ticket β $20
ποΈ 6 tickets β $100
According to the fundraiser, the money raised will go directly toward helping Boerne Little League families with their expenses in Williamsport.

βΎ This Is One of Those Really Special Boerne Moments
This is why I love our town.
These kids have spent their summer practicing, traveling, playing and battling their way through tournament after tournament.
Now they're getting an opportunity very few kids will ever experience.
They're going to Williamsport.
They're going to put BOERNE, TEXAS on their uniforms and represent our community in front of people across the country and around the world.
So let's do what Boerne does best.
Show up.
Buy the shirt. Donate if you can. Share the fundraiser. Fill our local restaurants for the games. Let your kids make signs. Wear your Boerne gear. And CHEER LOUD enough that maybe they can hear us all the way in Pennsylvania. ππ
