Boerne gathers for a time of reflection and fellowship across the community on May 1st for the National Day of Prayer. This special day offers several opportunities for prayer, reflection, and fellowship throughout the area.

The Spring Boerne Handmade Market features over 75 handmade-only vendors selling toys, jewelry, art, home decor, candles, apparel, and more. There will also be food and drink as well.

This is the largest market of its kind in South Texas. It runs on Saturday May 3 from 9 am to 4 pm. You can also get tickets to the early for VIP night (5:30-9:30pm) Friday.

Tickets are $5, but kids 12 and under are free. Tickets for the VIP evening are $25.

Love Kendall County Kids invites the community to join us for a Parking Lot Sale Fundraiser and Shoe Drive on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 316 W. Highland, Boerne, TX 78006. Proceeds will support programs and services for local children in need.

We’re collecting new and gently used shoes for children ages 0–18, which will be distributed to families in our community. Donations of clothing, furniture, home goods, books, and other sale items are also greatly appreciated!
Drop-offs can be made on the second and fourth Thursdays between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM or 2:00 PM–3:00 PM, and on the second and fourth Saturdays from 8:00 AM–11:00 AM. Look for the building with the red, yellow, and blue doors!

Volunteers are needed! If you’d like to volunteer or arrange an alternate drop-off time, please contact Beth at beth@lovekckids.org.

Boerne Lemonade Day - Presented by Sonora Bank

Attention Boerne Lemonheads, Lemonade Day in Boerne is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025! Boerne Lemonade Day Presented by Sonora Bank is a community program hosted by The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce that teaches young people the entrepreneurial skills they need to start, own and operate their own business; a lemonade stand! Registration is FREE and includes a Lemonade Day backpack and access to lessons on business plans, loans, marketing, advertising, permits, and other important topics. These lessons will culminate with a grand lemonade stand business opening on Saturday, May 3rd! 🍋

Horns in the Thorns: May 3rd at the The San Antonio Rose Palace

The Reckoning Bull Riding series ups the ante on May 3. Come spend your Saturday evening cheering on the cowboys as they square up against 1800 lb bulls for that adrenaline filled 8-second ride! 

Starting at 6:00, we’ll have family fun pre-rodeo activities and BBQ leading up to the event at 7:30. Then immediately afterward - no need to head home - we’ll have live music, cold drinks and space to enjoy the evening with some great company. Maybe it’ll be your turn and we’ll see you ride the mechanical bull! 

Tickets are just $15, kids 6 and under are free. Buy your ticket before April 25 to receive free parking!

Mutton Bustin’ registration is live on the event page, but limited … so reserve early.

It’s time for Moondance! Since 2000, we’ve hosted outdoor concerts under the oaks and stars at The Cibolo. Each year, visitors and locals alike have gathered as a community to enjoy live music, local vendors, and good times–a tradition that all started with friends coming together to tell stories, sing songs, and dance. From May to October (that’s right, we added a new show!), get ready for six nights of stories and songs in the heart of the Hill Country, with yard games, food trucks, Texas Chill Country Ice Cream, and a Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. beer tent.

Set up your chair or blanket, bring a cooler, and add another chapter to your story. See you there!
