Escape to Tapatio Springs for a one-of-a-kind weekend dedicated to Mahjong, connection, themed fun, and Hill Country relaxation! In partnership with Hill Country Mahjong, this three-day retreat welcomes everyone from total beginners to seasoned players.
Guests will enjoy eight curated Mahjong sessions throughout the weekend, including three Strategy Bootcamps led by Misty in collaboration with The Mahjong Line, three Open Play sessions, tournament play, themed activities, and plenty of time to relax and connect.
Friday – Country Club Chic
Arrive and settle in before the Welcome Reception, complete with a welcome drink and appetizers. The evening continues with the first Mahjong Bootcamp followed by a PJ Party on the Patio, casual play, and a complimentary s'mores bar.
Saturday – Old Hollywood High Rollers & Mahj Gone Wild
Saturday is packed with Mahjong! Start with another Strategy Bootcamp before Tournament Round 1, enjoy afternoon free time and a third Bootcamp, then head into an evening of casual play. Dress bold for the Mahj Gone Wild Dinner—animal print encouraged!—before wrapping up the night with Championship Play.
Sunday – Zen & the Art of Mahjong
Slow things down with sunrise yoga on the Pool Event Lawn, followed by breakfast, Final Open Play, and a Farewell & Awards Wrap featuring final prizes and a group photo.
🎟️ Full retreat admission includes: a welcome drink and appetizers at the Welcome Party, the Saturday Mahj Gone Wild Dinner, Mahjong sessions and Strategy Bootcamps, tournament play, retreat activities, and Mahj swag. Breakfasts and Saturday lunch are not listed as included.
Can't make the entire weekend? A Saturday-only pass is available for $450 + fees and includes all Saturday activities.
🏨 Guest rooms at Tapatio Springs can be booked separately and are not included in the retreat ticket.
Spots are intentionally limited for an intimate retreat experience, so advance reservations are encouraged.
