Have a future firefighter in the family? The City of Boerne is calling on kids ages 10–12 to suit up for an unforgettable summer experience at the 2025 Junior Fire Academy!

This action-packed, week-long program is designed to give young cadets a behind-the-scenes look at the world of fire service. From operating real fire hoses to learning lifesaving emergency medical techniques, kids will explore it all through hands-on training and exciting challenges. They’ll also get to navigate simulated confined spaces, try out thermal imaging gear, and dive into the science behind fire behavior and firefighting technology.
