Sourdough Workshop at The Cibolo

Learn the art and science of sourdough baking in this hands-on workshop at The Cibolo Center for Conservation! Led by instructor Andrea Bohn, this immersive class explores the history, fermentation science, and practical techniques behind delicious homemade sourdough.

Participants will learn every step of the process—from fermentation to mixing, kneading, and shaping—while also discussing how fermented foods support digestion and overall gut health.

Each participant receives a take-home kit including a mixing bowl, Dutch whisk, wooden spoon, kitchen towel, an established sourdough starter, and a loaf in progress so you can continue baking at home.
