Take a calming break from your busy day with the gentle, restorative practices of Qigong and Tai Chi. This class offers a relaxing and approachable introduction to mindful movement, breath, and balance.

The session is divided into two parts, beginning with Qigong (Chi Kung)—slow, repetitive movements designed to reduce stress, improve energy flow, and prepare the body and mind. The class then transitions into Tai Chi, featuring the Yang-style 46-movement form, often described as “moving meditation,” promoting balance, flexibility, and inner calm.

Movements can be done standing or seated, making this class accessible for a variety of ability levels. Participants are encouraged to wear loose-fitting clothing—no equipment is needed.

Led by experienced instructor Lavada Smith, this class offers a welcoming and grounded environment for anyone looking to explore gentle movement and overall wellness.
