A new monthly series invites young gamers and curious minds to learn a new tabletop game each month—starting with the beloved Pokémon Trading Card Game. Hosted in collaboration with The Boerne Hideout and the Patrick Heath Public Library, this free Learn to Play event offers a friendly, beginner-friendly environment to dive into a fun new hobby.

The first session will take place on Wednesday, October 23, at 4:15 pm. Each Learn to Play event will be held monthly on the third Thursday, providing ongoing opportunities for kids and teens to explore different games and meet fellow players in the community.

This month’s feature game, Pokémon TCG, will include instruction and support for new players to understand the rules and get a feel for gameplay. All skill levels are welcome, and materials will be provided.

The event will be held at Patrick Heath Public Library, 451 N Main Street, Boerne, TX 78006. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP to help organizers plan for attendance:
