Discover one of Texas' last pristine waterways on the Honey Creek Guided Walk! Led by certified guides and sponsored by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area, this interpretive hike explores the natural and cultural history of the Honey Creek area.

The guided walk covers approximately 2 miles over moderately challenging terrain, including flat sections, rocky areas, gentle slopes, and a couple of short, steep hills. Along the way, you'll make frequent stops to learn about the local flora, fauna, geology, and the unique ecosystem that makes Honey Creek so special. The experience lasts about 2.5 hours.

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water and sun protection, and dress for the weather. If registration is full, you may check with the guides at the Rust House on the morning of the walk to see if walk-up spots are available. Please note that dogs are not permitted, except for service animals, and programs may be canceled due to inclement weather.
