Spring Break Honey Creek Guided Walk

Explore one of Texas’ most pristine waterways during the Spring Break Honey Creek Guided Walk at Guadalupe River State Park. Led by certified guides, this interpretive hike takes visitors through the beautiful Honey Creek State Natural Area while learning about the region’s unique flora, fauna, geology, and cultural history.

The guided hike is approximately two miles and considered moderately difficult, with mostly flat terrain along with some rocky areas and short but steep hills. The walk lasts about 2½ hours with plenty of stops along the way for discussion and discovery.

Participants will meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and plan for sun protection.
