Explore the natural beauty and history of Honey Creek on a guided nature walk led by certified guides from the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area!
This approximately 2-mile, moderately difficult hike takes participants through scenic terrain to one of Texas' last pristine bodies of water. Along the way, guides will share fascinating information about the area's plants, wildlife, geology, and cultural history.
The walk lasts approximately 2.5 hours and includes rocky areas, slopes, and two short but steep hills.
What to Know:
Wear sturdy footwear and bring water and sun protection.
Dogs are not permitted, except service dogs.
The program is weather-dependent.
